Roxana Robin : General Director

Roxana Robin is the founder and general director of Children's Care International. After volunteering at an orphanage in India , she realized the importance of fighting for children's rights and chose to dedicate her life to this cause. It was after her return to Canada that she founded CCI in 2000.

Roxana Robin holds a certificate in psychosocial intervention and has worked in the field of early childhood education for several years. She is currently working towards a degree in Andragogy. She has spoken at conferences for Amnesty International and volunteered in International Cooperation.

Serge Lusignan : President

For over 18 years, Serge Lusignan has been the owner and director of Orient Express Canada, a tour-operator specialized in Southern Asia, or more specifically India . He has been involved in numerous associations as Director for the Montreal-Concordia Sports Association, Vice-President of the umpire committee for the WTF Taekwondo Association, President of the Montreal-Concordia Taekwondo Association, and Director for the Quebec Taekwondo Association.

During his many trips to India , Serge Lusignan was deeply affected by the children's horrible living conditions. As a result, he has dedicated his time to helping these child victims find freedom and discover the joy of playing.

Christine Durocher : Vice-President

Christine Durocher is Director for the Tchou-Tchou Childcare Centre and has worked in education for the past 14 years. She is also author of the Le Montréal des enfants guide, published by Éditions Stanké. Christine Durocher dreams of a world where all children can enjoy their childhood years to the fullest.

Bernard Beauchamp : Treasurer

Bernard Beauchamp is president of Tour Chanteclerc; a tour-operator specialized in organizing travel itineraries since 1970. He is a graduate of the École Supérieure des Transports in Paris, former president of the Association of Travel Agents of Quebec, and current president and founder of the Quebec Tour Operators Association. Father of three daughters, Bernard Beauchamp is personally interested in the fate of children around the world, particularly underprivileged children.

Cindy Médina-Labrecque : Secretary

Cindy Medina-Labreque holds a bachelor's degree in Communications/Public Relations and is the coordinator for Action Surveillance Verdun, a non-profit organization specializing in urban safety. She has worked as a mental health caregiver, as well as with troubled youth.

In India

Dr V.V. Ramana

Doctor V.V. Ramana, M.A. PhD, is the founder and general manager of ARDAR-CCI's partner in India . ARDAR is an Indian non-profit organization that has been working closely with both farming and fishing communities in Andra Pradesh for 15 years.

Dr. Ramana, who holds a doctorate in sociology, led a long career in education, research, and public service before dedicating his life to managing ARDAR. He was head of a University College in Parvathipuram and Director of the Institute of Development and Planning Studies in Visakhapatnam . He has also run several sociological research studies (Indo-Swiss Project and Indo-Dutch Fellowship) and published numerous books and articles.

Ashok Varma

Ashok Varma is the founder and manager of Info Transtech India Private Limited-a company specialized in translation and simultaneous interpretation-as well as the tour leader for Orient Express Private Limited (one of India 's main tour operators). He has fifteen years experience as a tourist guide and fifteen years experience as a translator and interpreter. He has taught French and translation studies at the Jawaharla Nehru University in New Delhi .

Mr. Varma holds a MA in Linguistics and Translation f rom Sorbonne Nouvelle, an MA in Translation and Interpretation from the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi , and a baccalaureate in science.

 Deepak Mathur

Deepak Mathur holds an English Literature degree from the Hindu College in Delhi and presently works as general manager for the Passage to India tour operator. He was also tour manager, a position he held for 22 years, for Orient Express India Private Limited (one of India 's main tour operators).

Kitty Mathur

Kitty Mathur worked as a coordinator and a promoter in the movie industry for several years.
