Results of the Third Edition of the Drawing and Creative Literature Contest

This Year’s Theme: “The Future of the World is a Child”

Using the theme “The future of the world is a child” CCI invited the public to participate in the third edition of its annual literary contest. The theme is inspired by a quote from Marquise Lepage author of the documentaries Des marelles et des petites filles and Des billes ballons et des garçons. These documentaries deal with children’s place in the world. The contest was open to all ages. There were four categories: ages 4 to 7; 8 to 12; 13 to 17 and 18 and over.

The Winners of the Literary Contest

CCI is very happy with the record number of participants in this third edition of the literary contest.

Indeed, we have received 167 drawings and 36 texts. The entries came from Canada but also from other countries, notably, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, France, The Philippines and Chad. The jury, which was made up of Mister André Jacob and Mistresses Janou-Eve Leguerrier and Roxana Robin, selected 21 drawings and 3 texts. The winning entries were chosen for their depth and originality.
