Discover the CD Coeur d'enfants by the students of the Tourterelle school!
 The Tourterelle school, which is a primary public school situated on Montreal’s south shore (Brossard) is currently recording a CD entitled Cœur d'enfants. The whole school is involved in this project which allows the 144 students aged between 5 and 12 years and their teachers, parents and close ones to get involved in a cause that is dear to their hearts.
This adventure started in June 2010 with the meeting of CCI and the students of the Tourterelle school. Touched by the life stories of the kids of their age who live in exploitation, the students responded heartily and decided to record a CD entitled Cœur d’enfants. The songs on the CD celebrate childhood and the importance of protecting the children everywhere in the world.
 The students from the Tourterelle school have decided to donate 50% of the profits of the sales of the CD Cœur d’enfants to support the efforts of the CCI to educate sixty children in Vizianagaram, India. The other part of the sales profits will go to the educational activities of the Tourterelle school.
The sixty children targeted by the project were previously deprived of liberty and were working as fishers, cattle keepers, domestic servants or workers in factories in conditions which threatened their security and their development, and eliminated their chances to receive education. Since 2003 these children are supported by CCI in order to go to school and reach their full potential. The initiative of the Tourterelle school is a source of inspiration for the CCI which in spite of enormous challenges continues to persevere year after year in this fight for social justice.
