A local Partner, responsible and committed

Every day activities are a success; widespread involvement allows the children to feel safe and to recover their smiles. The local community is beginning to be familiar with the work of The Foundation for Children Development, our local partner, and they dutifully advise the foundation's personnel when they witness a child being abused or neglected. The center has become a reference for the community. However, a definite need for renovation of the center has been identified. FCD tells us of leaking roofs, decries the absence of showers and draws our attention to certain areas which are unsafe for the children. Details.

From 17h to 21h, at Boutique Yoga-à-Porter, there was a succession of artists, visitors and inquirers who shared a few words regarding child labor while sharing a glass of wine and some finger foods. The comedian Denis Bouchard was the animator. Because of the intense interest in the masterpieces and the limited time allotted, the artists have chosen to keep the bids open until July 18,2011.
